Atlanta Falcons practice squad wide receiver Cameron Batson is lucky to be alive today. According to a police report, the practice squad wideout was arrested after a traffic stop on Saturday.

Police reports claim, Batson was pulled over on Interstate 75 around 2 am., after they observed him speeding and failing to maintain his lane.

Batson was intoxicated and when they tried to take him into custody a fight broke out. An officer fired a weapon during the fight, but no one was hit by the bullet.

Batson then got back into his car and fled the scene. He crashed into a truck and then exited on foot. A manhunt began and they were able to find Batson hiding. Both Batson and the officer had to be taken to the hospital for injuries.
