Dinesh Karthik was having an interaction with Cricbuzz and was asked about Ravichandran Ashwin. “These are all calls that are taken by the captain and coach with the belief they had in a certain player. To be fair, Ashwin started the tournament well but probably didn’t end well. But Chahal would’ve definitely made a lot more damage, it could’ve been an interesting choice. But hindsight is a very interesting thing to look at once the results come out.” said Dinesh Karthik.

Great Chance for Sri Lanka
The island nation recently has adopted fearless approach which has been quite fruitful. They had a topsy-turvy T20 WC 2022 but they showed great fighting spirit after losing against Namibia. Skipper Dasun Shanaka should promote himself up the order as he is someone who can handle the middle overs phase.
